1905The company is established as a service company of the printing machine manufacturer Koenig & Bauer Würzburg in the “Graphic District” (Grafisches Viertel) in Leipzig
1956The company is acting as a central machine repair provider for the leather industry of the GDR
1958Development and construction of machines for the production of film and synthetic leather webs as rationalization company of the state combine synthetic leather-fur processing
1990Transition to a trust company with the name LSF (Leipziger Spezialmaschinenfabrik)
1993The privatization is already realised in 1993 with the main production range machines for prefabricated concrete parts and machines for web-shaped material
1998The family Julius Thyssen investment company from Mühlheim/Ruhr takes over the company

LSF operates under the name of LSF Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG with the traditional product range machines and plants for web-shaped materials of the film, synthetic leather, paper and textile industry
2011Change of shareholders and takeover of the company by Albrecht Bolza-Schünemann, who comes from the founding family of the Koenig & Bauer AG
